MULTI-BASE LOTION

Mixing Directions: Be sure to use distilled water, city water and well water can sometimes turn the lotion to an off color. We suggest heating the distilled water to 170° in your microwave to help soften the multi-base. You can also use a small sauce pan on your stove top to heat the water and multi-base. Be sure you don't overheat the mixture. Stir the mixture gently to get a smooth mixture. Please note that the multi-base already contains preservatives and additional preservatives are not needed when the suggested amounts of distilled water are added to the multi-base. Use routine health precautions when making your product, such as, using a clean disinfected area and sterile utensils, place lids on all containers after you have made your product.

Fragrance and Coloring: Skin safe scent can be added to the multi-base lotion. We suggest you add teaspoon to 1 teaspoon of scent per 8 oz. of your finished product. The amount of scent added depends on the strength of scent and personal preference. Add the scent into the multi-base BEFORE adding the base to the water. This reduces the possibility of the scent separating from the multi-base once you add it to the water. Soap dyes can be used to color your finished product.
